and of course i'm going to miss thanksgiving dinner. well we already had one two months ago but this would have been my first american thanksgiving. that sucks too. next year.(and i'll have my fill of everything american when i'm down for 24 months straight.

court is coming up on friday. i hope most of the craziness is just at the mall and not on the freeway. being the busiest shopping day of the year. i think i asked about this last year, but since i'm cdn, i pay no attention to it. now good old "adbusters" proclaims friday as "buy nothing day" those anarchists! anyway, aaron(my boss - sort of) gave me an adbusters flyer to put in my window of my car for friday. i think it should apply only to the states but apparently not. so i asked, "can i buy a tea at timmys?" uh, no. ok, so are you going to close the store? uh, no. apparently barton discount doesn't apply to the adbusters "buy nothing day" hey, we're a mom & pop store so we're exempt. i think it was just aimed at walmart anyway.

so, kevin got an e-mail from my mom today. karl and her just made it to florida today. three days later. they had an awful time with the one trailer. blew out three tires and one rim. to the tune of over $300 u.s. man, that sucks. so my mom has a grand total of two-and-a-half days to enjoy florida before she flies back saturday afternoon. sucks doesn't it. oh yeah i already said that.

i've been sleepy and thirsty tonight so i think i go down and get some more coke. that'll do the trick. night.
