tea for one
January 19, 2004 - 8:57 pm decided to post something today. courtney left this morning a few hours after i had left for work(i guess). she came down friday evening and stopped in at the store to say hi, hang out and bring me a tea & danish from timmy's. that was an unexpected and flavourful surprise. then i brought pizza home because i was too damn lazy to cook(and tired) and we both decided we wanted pizza. saturday we had the house to ourselves and just laid low. sunday we went to a matinee at old jackson square to see "big fish". it was good although i'm not sure if i liked it better before or after i saw it. maybe i'll just have to see it again. court made a delicious veggie soup(which i ate for lunch today and would have been better except for my sore tongue and awful canker sore i've been carrying around for a week) and then last night's din was roasted potatoes and chicken which she does very well. the potatoes were a new recipe, simple yet yum. ma comes back from a min-tour of FLA tomorrow. my brother's picking her up from the airport at 4:30 - just in time for rush hour(s) good luck getting back to hamilton. she's going right to work after she get's back from t.o. i'm super thirsty right now and i'm not sure what to drink, water, tea or have another coke. i'm leaning towards a tea, so now i shall go. i wish i was making 2 of them one for court and the other for me. i miss my girl. |
