before this i used to have saturdays off. how i loved to have the weekend off. it makes you appreciate it. and when i was working at promed, i was only working part time, so i had a lot of days off. friday was my previous day off from work and school because of the radio show i used to co-host. i left last year because of the way the show was heading, but i did my part. and i had a lot of fun.

from 1991 to 1999 i was working six days a week, so you would think i was getting somewhere. it did not. now i know what people meant by the day of rest. i might calculate all of the days i have worked when i retire. it'll give me something to do.

on this particular day off, i'll visit peter at the old roofmart. rake some leaves and perform other chores. then kevin(it's kev's birthday today!) and i will go down to the staircase and check out some bad improv. he told me to cover my ears except when his friend was performing. yikes! then maybe out for some drinks with some of his improv buddies.

right now i'm chatting with the love of my life. flipped through the holiday ikea catalogue and made a cinnamonny good breakfast. (see court?) she knows what that means! maybe a shower and another tea will round out this noon hour. that will be good.
