or old denty. a.k.a the bratmobile. has returned, to canada. my car, which has been on vacation in pittsburgh, is back with it's owner. and since i'm exiled, it can suffer with me. doesn't make much sense to pay insurance on something i'm not using. i must thank my brother, kevin for "rescuing" it. but in his words: "if you're ever banned from somewhere and need me to get your things..." i don't think it was a problem. that was very generous of him. i did take her out for a spin to the corner gas station. the needle was on "e", and it's better to get gas now then rush around before i go to work.

work. now there's a four letter word that was downright evil today. i just didn't want to be there. surprise, surprise. i was grumpy because of court going home last night and the weather which in one word, sucked. it was rainy and cold and ug. it was busy at the store today, mondays usually are. so lets not talk about it anymore.

i'd much rather talk about the weekend. court came up on friday and picked me up from work around 5:30. she cooked me a delish din. it was pecan chicken with couscous and salad, interupted by kids asking for free candy. there weren't a lot this year. and most had really unimaginitive costumes. i could have barfed a scarier one up. one kid had a football uniform on and just painted his face up. what the hell is that? some didn't even bother at all. like the kid who was way too old and stood at the door for five minutes, then asked me for "trick or treat candy". sorry you're too dumb and you don't have a costume on. no candy for you. kids are lame these days. i was even expecting the pumpkin to get kicked. i'm glad it didn't. i also owe my girl some hallowe'en candy.

i did share some of my candy with her that she got me. as usual, she got me some rockin' gifts. a brassy t-shirt from the gig last week(that i missed) some cool sweaters that i like and chocolates galore. oh, and of course another year on the old d.l. amy e. also gave me some novel chocolates in the shape of airplanes, cat faces and goalies. plus pop rocks, balogna gum and a licorice pipe. yum, my teeth will rot out sooner than i thought.

saturday consisted of me working while court went to t.o. to visit some friends and then after we went out to eat(if i could only remember the name of the restaurant) then back home to chill. it was a relaxing and intimate weekend. just the two of us. i think we need these every now and again.

sunday was filled with french toast and oil changes and pizza before court had to leave. at least she had company for the ride down. kevin seemed to think pittsburgh was awesome. i think that was my first feeling too. and i still have it.(i'm going to live there - one day) it has kind of a big city feel but none of the big city crap. like massive crime or traffic or out of this word rent fees. uh, depends on where you are, right? hamilton doesn't have the same neighbourhood vibe , you know? after five everywhere is deserted. everyone goes home or to the mall. very lame.
