another strange question
July 27, 2003 - 5:38 pm well i'm still in the u.s. i decided to prolong my weekend by 12 or so hours because i wasn't ready to leave courts place. but when am i? i only do it because of work. and since i don't have to show up until 11:30-12, i can leave monday morning. i only did this once before. it was in the winter, and i had to get up super early to make it to work by 10am. it was hard, i felt myself falling asleep a lot and made a quick pit stop at the country fair in erie.(it so happens that court stops there all the time but she calls it the country style, which is a coffee place up in canada) i don't think i'll be as tired but we'll see. hopefully the traffic won't be bad. this weekend has been full of talk, kittens and mexy type food. the talking is what we've put off for a while now. it was needed and we accomplished a lot. the kittens were from amy e's and we went to mad mex for some "mexican food". it was too loud for one and we had some louts sitting beside us. the tables were way too close and because the music was cranked everyone talked that much louder. i think i'm getting to old to go to chuck "e" cheese for dinner. but the good thing is i'll be coming back down next weekend. i wonder what the customs guy will ask me next week? stay tuned...on friday it was like this: customs guy: where you going? me: pittsburgh c.g: what brings you there? me: my girlfriend lives there c.g: do you have any personal items there? me: uh, a toothbrush... court and i have come to the conclusion that the customs people just think of random questions to blurt out just for the hell of it. they must do it for amusement. but as usual i had a fab weekend down in the burgh. court made dinner on friday night that could only be described as "yum". ravioli and sauce, and fresh salad. she was making an avacado salsa as i was completing this entry today. and so it will only be four days until we see each other and that is always good. yay! |
