smart cat? - malodorous aloe
April 11, 2003 - 11:00 pm worked today. was really tired. had a kick-ass din of fried zucchini and four cheese PA-sta. was cooking said dinner and was on the phone with the kitten when the pkg. poured out too fast and splashed boiling hot water on my arm. and i screamed into the phone, which wasn't too pleasant for my girl. (sorry, again) she told me to put some aloe on it. and this is the real deal, cuz she got this plant for my mom for x-mas. how sweet is that? damn sweet! so i took one of the older looking uh, leaves? off and cut it and dabbed it on the burn. first off it was kind of yellow-orange and smelt strnage. but it did help the burn feel a lot better. it's not blistering or sore now. just a bit red. so i must thank my girl for always giving me the correct and most timely advice. now i don't know much, but i do know that cats are smart when they want something. and proving me right again is cat no. 2. we usually call her isis.(she's a queen in a little holsteins body) the cupboard door was open and a new unopened bag of whiskas was sitting in front of the much larger and opened bag that they eat now. but of course isis wants the new stuff.(cuz it's better) and i'm preparing din with my back turned and i hear a thud. she had managed to pull or push the bag on it's side. and when i told her to scoot. she just looked at me, saying no way! the next time i turned around she was on top of the bag and was trying to open it. her efforts were not in vain as mom came to the rescue and opened the bag and gave her some. the queen indeed. speaking of the cats. chut and isis usually keep their distance from one another. unless there scrapping it out and chasing each other all over the place. see we got chutney from the s.p.c.a. a few years ago first. and isis a couple of weeks later. so chut-butt has a right i guess to be a little bossy. tonight they were "holding hands". sitting facing each other about a foot apart. i've never seen them so close. aww... and one final comment. i have been told about the grammatical errors in my previous diary's (there's one more!) hee and since i'm lazy and dumber than the avg. person they will continue. maybe i'll get better, maybe not. |
