the eve of it all
December 24, 2003 - 1:51 pm 2 pm, christmas eve. waiting for courtney to get here. i'm also hungry. i had a bowl of cereal at 7:30 this morning before i went to work. and then a beer at work. oh and a coffee from 'ol th's. the store was only open(officially) til 12pm. and we just sat around most of the time. plus there was only five of us today. barton street was jammed. centennial was jammed. eastgate was absolutely a nightmare to get into or out of. i made the mistake of getting milk at fortinos and trying to get out of the kenore street exit. 1/2 hr. later i was free. i'm glad i'm at least done my shopping. it is crazy, no wonder they say it's the busiest day of the year. but if you want some excitment and danger hustle your ass to a mall. i might get some egg nog, but that's it. and i'm starving. so maybe lunch too. after court gets here, we go to toronto to my sisters and a x-mas eve din. it's supposed to snow, but so far it looks like were in for a green christmas. everyone feels the same, just give us a few inches for christmas then the snow can fuck off for the rest of the winter. never works that way now does it? i hope court doesn't have any trouble at the cdn border. that would suck. they usually are pretty cool, but with this orange alert you never know. and i hope she's not bringing in any beef. ha ha. we will have a very nice time when she gets here. i'm happy to be spending the holidays with my girl. should be different. i haven't told her yet but a bunch of cool cats are hanging out at absinthe tomorrow night, so if court wants will make an appearance. boxing day we are hitting the big smoke again to go to the ROM and adrian & bianca's for a bash. party, party, party! then aaron & sabrina are having a shin-ding at their place on the 27th. we're also suppose to see terry's band at absinthe later on that same night. whirlwind! the rest of the "holidays" will be quiet, i don't even know what's going on for new years. but as long as it's me and court i don't really care. wishing the world a peacful christmas-time.
